My name is Joseph Imbum from Ok Ao River (Ok Ao Station) previously it was under Hukim village. Now Ok Ao station is a rural station for West Ningerum rural LLG, North Fly, Western Province, Papua New Guinea.

Ok Ao Station was established in late 80s by American Missionaries under EBC establishment. started construction in 1986 and completed it in 1991 with the help of Steven Katuk and his brothers and inlaws.

The Nium Clan forefathers who were the principle landowners agreed for the development to take place on the land so they gave agway they scared place (a lake area) with flat land for an airstrip to be build upon.

I am the son of one of the Nium clan members who knows the history of our forefathers and our clan members are.

I am a professional Electrical Engineer (Diploma) with more than 26 years of service to this country Papua New Guinea. Have experienced in Mining industry, Electricity industry, food processing industry and other electrical services in PNG, Solomon Island.
